Brother Apostle Claver – to call out the the Democrat Party racist is DIRTY POLITICS. After the Civil Rights Bill of 1964 was passed – Southern Racist Democrats switched parties to the Republican Party!!! Squarely candidate richard Nixon used lee Atwater’s SOUTHERN STRATEGY to win the presidency in 1968. In every election since the Republican party has used this RACIST STRATEGY. Karl Rove is an expert at the RACIST STRATEGY! The TEA Party is predominantly comprised of extremely Racist people – they are no longer hiding under white sheets. Brother Apostle Claver why are you ignoring history after 1964? Why are you enabling these Racists? The racist Koch Brother Billionaires created the Tea Party. Brother Apostle Claver you are hurting all people of color by acting as a cover for these racists. How much are they paying you to hurt the better interests of own People?
The Democrat party is the party of today’s KKK. In Louisiana, the Attorney General Caldwell, a Democrat, is tied to white supremacy even to the point of his family’s attendance at Tallulah Academy Delta Christian School, which even today is annexed out to the state of Mississippi, as well as registered with the Louisiana Department of Education. In 1984 during Allen v. Wright, this school lied to Supreme Court Justices and suggested that the plaintiffs doctored a photograph to make it appear to say Tallulah Academy Delta Christian School. In fact, in a 2009 McKnight v. MPSB et al. the Madison Parish School Board actually contended this very same fact, despite the fact that the Mississippi Private School Association website shows the school’s photograph with the same picture of today’s building, which reads “Tallulah Academy Delta Christian School.” This school double-dips for its 96+% white population, while the rest of the parish population, which is a steady 60+% African-American, attends the public school system, as represented by Madison Parish School Board. This public school system represents systematically the worst schools in the worst state of the nation to get an education since achievement test scores have been published. This public school system is so bad that the present-day students graduating cannot compete with the state average ACT score from the 1970′s, even though the state and nation have both continued to increase since that time. These children are so far behind that the rampant fraud and abuses, some of which when came to light caused the entire state of Louisiana’s bond rating to drop in the early 2000′s, is common place. Caldwell allowed the stealing from African-American children to such a level that the school board was allowed to hire and continue to employ a fraud, who raped a teacher and had a year long “inappropriate relationship” with a student, which was discovered when the child was 16 and ONLY termed this after a substantial chunk of taxpayer’s money was donated to the teen’s mother. This fraud actually only had about 2 1/2 years of experience on his own minimal credentials before he utilized another person with the same name but better credentials to become employed as Superintendent. Caldwell knew. He still refused to prosecute. He found nothing questionable or wrong even after the rape victim begged and cried for aide, even when financial frauds were uncovered, even when the inappropriate relationship continued. He maintained financial ties to the Madison Parish School Board even after a judge from earlier in the 2000′s told them to sever this relationship after the department of justice recorded over 26-28 serious allegations of abuses, which Caldwell’s office failed to prosecute. The victims—African-Americans. Caldwell and other Madison Parish Ku Klux Klansmen types hide in the Democratic party. They are not equal opportunity victimizers. They are monsters.
I am a blackman and do not think it is appropriate for Mr. Claver to speak on my behalf. I am also a christian and would like to know when did GOD make you an apostle of His? I watched & listen to you on MSMBC News and you made me feel sick. You do not know what you are saying but only want to be in the lime light. Stop speaking hatred and you definitely need someone to teach you about the Word of God.
Hearing this man speak confirms my observance of a “robotic”, brainwashed southerner. For this man to call himself a man of God, I wouldn’t follow him to the mailbox.
It appears that if you can’t beat “them” with rightousness and a moral compass, the southerner usually joins their abuser. Mr. Claver reminds me of this sad fact.
If my son had not had a pell grant, he would not have graduated college. He worked full time and my income could not afford the 25,000 dollars he needed to complete his courses. Thank you Democrats. My mother would be in poverty without health care if Social Security and Medicare wasn’t passed by Democrats. She worked all her life building other people wealth.
Mr. Claver is a loud mouth prepetrator when in fact he has joined his abusers.
Claver couldn’t measure up to the gum on the President’s shoe. Neither can his Tea Party Buds. Some people will do anything for money and in the south, blacks are very materialistic as opposed to decency. Don’t take my word for it. Look around.
Just wanted to say congrats on the MSDNC appearance. Good Job!
You are correct about the history of the democratic party, but you failed to remind the people you were speaking to of the fact that the platforms of both parties changed after the civil rights movement was over. And although President Lincoln freed the slaves, as a republican, he ONLY did so to economically destroy the South and it’s ambition to separate from the Union. It’s one thing to state facts, but it’s quite another to distort them for your own personal and political gain.
I don’t mind there being black republicans, but I wonder if you and Mr. Cain considered blacks as ‘brainwashed’ and ‘bamboozled’ when they were overwhelmingly republican?
I also don’t understand where the two of you get off playing the race card, when Mr. Cain just said last week that too many blacks play it and it should cease. It’s funny how you black republicans can see yourselves as equals amongst white republicans, but when they show you how they really feel about you, then it’s automatically racism. this is hypocricy at its best, and the republicans have so perfected the craft.
I don’t agree with many of the democratic party’s policies, as i believe that they represent a more paternalistic racism verses the republicans’ overt racist biases, but we all know that voting is mainly about two things: economics and social construct. anyone in their right mind wouldn’t vote for a republican if they aren’t a part of the wealthy americans that they represent. nor would they vote for them when the repubs are doing everything in their power to revert back to school segregation. I’m sure you’ve heard of the Wake County School System in NC and what the republicans are trying to do.
Bottom line: blacks will never be willing to come to the republican party with all of this going on. And with the supposed separation of church and state, you really shouldn’t be publicly endorsing anyone.
Mr. Claver, I saw your rant on MSNBC and all I can say is you are just as disgusting as Mr. Cain and his “no I didn’t, well I don’t think I did, well, maybe I did” rants. I live in Georgia and he’s been a laughingstock for years – NOT because he’s black but because he’s totally nuts.
Mr. Claver.
I saw your interview with that pantywaist Bashir. He was rude, disrespectful, demeaning and obnoxious toward you. I thought you handled him with with humor, grace, patience and far more intelligence than he could ever hope to have. I do believe that we, as Americans, will get through this ordeal – but it’s going to take courageous leaders, like yourself, to show the way. Great work and God bless. – Roy
Ummm, MLK Jr. was NOT a republican (but I guess with enough faith, all things are plausible):
Public stance on political parties
As the leader of the SCLC, King maintained a policy of not publicly endorsing a U.S. political party or candidate: “I feel someone must remain in the position of non-alignment, so that he can look objectively at both parties and be the conscience of both—not the servant or master of either.”
In a 1958 interview, he expressed his view that neither party was perfect, saying, “I don’t think the Republican party is a party full of the almighty God nor is the Democratic party. They both have weaknesses … And I’m not inextricably bound to either party.”
Although King never publicly supported a political party or candidate for president, in a letter to a civil rights supporter in October 1956 he said that he was undecided as to whether he would vote for the Adlai Stevenson or Dwight Eisenhower, but that “In the past I always voted the Democratic ticket.”
In his autobiography, King says that in 1960 he privately voted for Democratic candidate John F. Kennedy: “I felt that Kennedy would make the best president. I never came out with an endorsement. My father did, but I never made one.” King adds that he likely would have made an exception to his non-endorsement policy in 1964, saying “Had President Kennedy lived, I would probably have endorsed him in 1964.”
Apostle Claver’s appearance on MSNBS was amazing and I am most impressed. The host couldn’t hold a candle to Claver. I am sending the link to my best buds! Keep up the fight
I think Claver is on the right track and wants to see Black Americans rise above the Democratic Party repression and lies to succeed in this country. Keep up the good work!
