Nice to see African Americans making it back to the GOP, the true party of opportunity. I was born in Brooklyn to a father from Appalachia in KY and an Italian mother. We were extremely poor and attended a black Methodist church. I attended Boys High in Bedford Stuy. By the way I am white. I didn’t want to ever be poor and the GOP represented what I believed were the ways to get out of poverty, work and work hard and have faith. Neither parents had gone beyond the 8th grade, I had to join the Army in ’66 in order to go to college on the GI bill. I like to consider myself mid to upper middle class now living the dream in California. Liberal programs help some people but hurt all by not giving them a way out. Don’t ever take God out of our daily lives and give us all the opportunity to succeed and we will.

Why does the GOP exclude whites, as this sign implies? This sign is more racist than anything the President has said or done. Oh, by virtue of pretending to be Christian and Conservative, it makes this okay, anything is okay. The “GOP is the New Black”, right. Don’t think reality, or those based in it, are buying this latest gimmick. Good luck. Waste of money. Palin, Beck, Gingrich, Koch brothers, Scott Brown, O’Donnel, Murdoch, Rove, Angle and the rest are Black, but only in their hearts.
