Last night I found myself at a political meeting; some might term it a rally. This was a new experience for me and I confess I went mostly out of curiosity.

Please leave the homosexuals alone. I live in Galveston,
Texas and if it weren’t for the gays, our city would not be as beautiful as it is.
Jesus said to “judge a tree by the fruit it bears.” The gay community bears some beautiful fruit and I am ashamed of the way some christians view them. We should love them and show them that God loves them too! I don’t know anyone who can cast a stone against the gays. Those that do should take a long hard look at themselves.

Ms Brennan,
I don’t see what the letter to the editor, or the described discussion in the letter for that matter, had to do with homosexuals. I have zero problem with homosexuals, but still believe in traditional marriage. Please do not use non sequitur comments to make a point.
