I have been impressed with your approach and your organization. I have talked to some friends, and one asked that if we raised $5000 for Raging Elephants, what would you do with that money?

    Good Luck

    Vote Novemmber 2!!!

Listened to you this morning in El Paso. You were right on! Had to laugh when you said Republicans were (for the most part) too old and too white. We have been guilty of ignoring the changing demographics of the United States while the Democrats continuously play on themes of victimization for everyone not born with blonde hair and blue eyes…encouraging the very racism they espouse to avoid. Hope it’s not too late. We are indeed the “non-racist” party and Americans need to hear this—over and over and over again! I look forward to hearing more from and about you in the days and years to come.

Apostle – I am a member of the Shelby County (Tennessee) Republican Party Steering Committee here in Memphis.

I recently heard your presentation at the request of Walker Uhlhorn in behalf of Charlotte Bergman and was MOST, MOST impressed and excited about the possibilities !

i want to introduce you to others and get support to go ahead on a long term basis here in Memphis, but we have run into a “rub”.

Charlotte wants us to raise your money and instead of giving it to you – to give it to her thru CharlottePac.

Problem is: she pays her living expenses in part or in whole out of campaign funds. We want the money we raise to go straight to Raging Elephantsand not through Charlotte – much as we like Charlotte we are interested in the cause and not in paying her personal bills -?-

Question: Can we retain Raging Elephants outside of Charlotte’s control ? If so, we would like to pay your way here for a Saturday morning presentation like the one I saw only this time for he whole Party Steering committee and the Republican Clubs in the area ?

How much are we looking at in terms of fees and travel expenses ?

Many thanks, D. Jack Smith Please respond to me at:

“Taxation without representation is tyranny.” That’s the original Tea Party slogan. It wasn’t the taxation so much as the lack of representation that angered the original party. Taxes were set in England with no colonial input.
Look at today. My representative doesn’t respond to my ten buck contribution but rather to the million dollar contributor. Then there’s the recent Supreme Court decision to allow wealthy foreign corporations to contribute as US subsidiaries.
And lastly, there’s those voter suppression programs run by the GOP seeking to deny representation due to lack of a photo ID.
These three things exemplify the error in Tea Party thinking. The Original tea Partiers were asking for more inclusion in their government but Tea Partyers now are reinforcing efforts to keep the ‘little’ people from having a vote.
You guys need to: (1) advocate public financing of elections (2) repeal the Supreme Court “money=speech”decision (3) stop the voter suppression programs and (4) form an alliance with the “Occupy” movement.
    You’ll be glad you did.

  • paul says:

Took my input down? Thanks for the freedom of speech… ya bunch of hypocrites. How’s your pals the Koch brothers doin?

  • paul says:

Taxation without REPRESENTATION is tyranny. Original Tea Party was about lack of representation… not anger at condiment prices. Lack of representation was the issue. Now think about it.
How do you get represented by sending twenty dollars to your congressman? Would you be represented better with a million dollar donation? You can bet on it.
Then there’s the influence foreign corporations will get under the new Supreme Court “money=speech” decision. We lose again.
And now the Tea Party is in league with the GOP in its voter suppression efforts.
Yikes! That makes three things the Tea Party is doing AGAINST furthering citizen representation.
Why don’t you advocate publicly financed elections, repeal of the “money=speech” Supreme Court decision and GOP voter suppression programs? You’d make Paul Revere proud.
You’re the friggin TEA PARTY… you’re supposed to be FOR citizen REPRESENTATION! Get your act together! Join the “Occupy” movement.

Paul, If you can’t dazzle them with your Brilliance, Baffle them with bull-sh1t! Why would any Tea party patriot discard his/her self respect to stand with the thieves and liars at occupy? Crony capitalism is the problem. Anybody with the will can form a non profit lobby and influence the system. Not just corporations. Want to end corporate welfare and regulations designed to stifle completion? get rid of the progressive tax code that makes it all possible. Stop looking at your welfare check long enough to watch what the other hand is doing.

  • paul says:

    Rob
Crony capitalism is exactly what I’m going after. Nothing will change if money = speech. I have no money…therefore no speech… and my mouth has been duct-taped over by corporate money. Americas has been put up for sale to the highest bidder and until it stops… absolutely nothing will change.
Cutting taxes only gives big money interests the ability to BUY MORE CONGRESSMEN… and you LOSE again. Think it through to its logical conclusion.
    Get the money out!!!
P.S. Theft? I was mugged by people here in banks cleaning out my 401K… not some street person with his pants down to his knees. Keep it in perspective, please.
