Apostle Claver tells the world how the real party of racism is the Democrats
“The Herd” has done it, again!
Memorial Dedication Last Sunday.
RE.org Billboards, Today!
On this past Sunday the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial was dedicated on the Mall in our nation’s capital. Today, 3 of our 4 …
Hi Apostle, I met you at the Beaumont TEA Party Patriots rally in Beaumont. You gave a great speech with a great message. Keep the faith! I’ve just blogrolled your site and will be periodically posting about your organization. God bless you and the Raging Elephants.
Thank GOD for you — I am so sick of racism in both communities…
you are a blessing. Met you at Bmt Tea Party 11-7-09
I am from Vidor [not proud of history here] my father was a general contractor. we had crosses burned in our yard, rocks thru our windows with warnings, etc., because some of our sub contractors were black. they were like family to us and kkk didn’t like that.
so we are behing you and love your message. Betty
Really? The party that elected the first Black president and has all of the Black elected officials in both the senate and the house is the racist party? This is the kind of rhetoric that keeps Black people out of the GOP. Let’s be intellectually honest, most of the racist signs and language come from GOP rallies and TEA parties. Take for example the last presidential conventions. The Democratic convention was the most diverse in history while the GOP convention was the least diverse in recent history. We can’t ignore such occurances like they didn’t actually happen. This is not the way to get people of color to join the GOP. If you really want to know why we are not joining the GOP I can give you some hints as I am your target demographic. My friends and family are middle class college educated Black professionals who almost exclusively vote Democratic. If the GOP actually listens to us there may be some movement but cynically placing the racist lable won’t do it.
Right, you name Charlie Rangle and Sheila Jackson-Lee as racists in Texas of all places. Oh no, no way white Texans can be racists. I’m sorry I have to laugh at this guy, he is ridiculous. SMDH
Sometimes racism needs to be pointed out so you see the truth, are you being racist when you say everyone in the GOP is white? It goes both ways Mike. Unfortunately history has not been properly taught in schools either. Abraham Lincoln ended slavery and entered the Republican party in order to do so. Martin Luther King Jr. was also a Republican. The Democratic party still has a former KKK member in it’s major ranks, Robert Byrd is one of the oldest Senators. The Democrat party has destroyed the black family through welfare and abortion, take a look at C.U.R.E. by Starr Parker. All the government can offer to minorities or anyone are false promises because it has to take from others to give, when the giving is forced we are no longer a free nation because the arbitor (the government) just becomes bigger and stronger not the people it is supposed to serve. Democrats love a pliable socitey that is dependant on them that way they will just keep on voting them in. Why do you think Barak Obama wants amnesty for illegal aliens? The appearance of being kind and moral will fool enough people to get the nation in deep trouble, read your Bible Mike.
Well Sarah it is a fact that there are no nationally elected black representatives in the GOP. Please show me where I am wrong. Every single Black member of the U.S. House of Representatives and the lone Black U.S. senator are Democrats. How is that being a racist by pointing out easily verifiable facts? We all know Lincoln was a Republican as were most Black people until 1964 when southern white racists flocked in droves to the Republican party. Maybe you need to read a bit more history yourself when writing about my fraternity brother Dr. King because he may have been a Republican prior to the 1960 election because it is an established fact that he voted for John F. Kennedy and for LBJ in 1964 so that blows your idea he was a Republican beyond 1960 out of the water. I know it’s easy to listen to Apostle Imani and not do your own research but that is to your own detriment. The decline of the midle class is a direct result to the policies begun by Ronald Reagan, hint google real wages and you will see increases in GDP but a decline in wages. All of my ffriends and family are Democrats and none of us are on public assistance nor do we vote Democratic for a “handout”, we have jobs and work hard. And as far as reading a bible I am an atheist so I won’t be doing that anytime soon. I also don’t think being a Republican makes a person any more moral or just than members of any other political party.
Good discussion Sarah.

More proof MLK was not a Republican. He was non-partisan and never publically supported a candidate. He did however travel with Democrat LBJ because 1. he enacted the civil rights act and 2. the Republican candidate Barry Goldwater opposed the civil rights amendment. Facts are facts.
Apostle Claver contradicts himself big-time–he’s almost as bad as Glenn Beck. He slams Andrew Jackson, but then goes on to getting back to the roots from which this country was founded on. For Christ’s, Allah’s, buddah’s, etc. sake–depending on what religion you are–I don’t give a hoot–the U.S.A. was founded on principles of seperation between church and state for starters. This “Apostle” wants to have a new breed of government officials hired on christian terms. He needs to read his constitution–but more importantly–ragingelephants and their advocates do. By the way, most of America’s founding father’s were Deists. What “roots” does “Apostle” Claver want to go back to–Deist ones? Just goes to show how dumb most of america is–it’s an education problem–no critical thinking taught in our schools for decades. I truly believe america’s worst enemy is itself–look at the ratings Beck, O’reilly and Hannity get–really scary when these guys get fact checked for what they say–most times they are wrong–and people (american idiots who can’t think on their own) watch them more and more. Some branches of the Tea partiers are no better. This country really can’t be saved. What a shame.
To John – that’s the problem right there. All you have brought to the table is a big complaint and say that America cannot be saved. That’s wrong and too many people think that way. My father fought in Vietnam, I am a Navy veteran – what did we serve for if all we are going to do is become like the rest of the world and bow graciously to kings and emporers…that’s why we left Europe in the first place. If we become like the rest of the world, the rest of the world will have nothing to aspire to.
This Nation is Great. I know because I live in Japan which is a constitutional-monarchy (I work for US company) and see the effects of socialism every day. It’s not a poor life, but it’s also not very free. I am glad that I am from a country where if I work hard I can aspire to something better. We have strong innovation in commerce, a still strong education system, and if you apply yourself, you can do well in America. And guess how many Japanese tour and are educated in American universities…thousands.
I agree that we need to start with our education system and that we need to focus on our younger generation first. And even though the nation was founded in part on the notion of sep. of church and state, it was still a strong society founded on Christian values and that is where we need to remain as a core while respecting other’s freedoms. But to have any president speak of religion in any terms other than simply “God” (which encompases many religions) is just not right.

Good comments John. I was wondering myself how conservatives who pride themselves on knowing the constitution want the country to become a religiously based nation. If you get a chance and read the 2008 GOP party platform in the education section of this web-site and look where they want our foreign policy to be biblically based.
@ Chris, not all of our ancestors came from Europe. This is a good country but we can make it better and we can do that by actually opening our minds to the fact that ideas can come from outside our boarders. Also, we weren’t founded on “Christian” values because many of the founders were deists, agnostics and atheists as well as Christian. Morality and ethics are not the sole domain of religion.
John and Mike, please, please read some American History sometime rather than the Huffington Post. Tell me, what happpened in Europe for hundreds of years prior to the American Revolution? Here is a hint; The Roman Catholic church was burning people alive for leaving that church. It was called The Inqusition. Roman Catholics ruled France,Spain, Italty,as well as other European countries. The Church of England wasn’t quite so violent, yet if you were a member of a different denomination, church, etc. , you were very much considered “lower class”. I recommend reading Rev. Doddridges writings concerning Chuch of Englands attitude towards Lutherns, Baptists, etc. Now, you won’t find his writings in The Huffington Post, nor will Rachel Maddow quote them. The United States of America so called attitude(and,it was an”attitude,a way of looking at things,NEVER in The Contitution) was that of leaders not wanting any of these denominations to run this nation, Islam, Native American shaminism, and all pagan religions were not even considered in these decisions. If so, where were they mentioned in any Americans writings?
how you been apostle? im not sure you read this sooo…
Uh Steve I don’t know exactly what you are getting at. I’m pretty familiar with European history as I got an “A” in my AP class but I digress. You are correct that the framers of the constitution wanted to avoid the religious exploitation that went on in Europe which is why they included the prohibition of government involvement in religion as the first amendment. We can go on and on about what the framers were thinking but all of that is pure speculation as all we have to go by is the document itself. Because of that document I am free to be an atheist without any repercussions whatsoever and that’s the way it should be. I don’t understand why so many conservatives don’t understand the concept of religious liberty. Why try to push your beliefs on others? I don’t get the hypocrisy of limited government but then using it to push one religion over another.
I’m not familiar with that reverand you spoke of but I will look into his writings, and despite what you believe liberals read more than just the Huff. To believe in the seperation of church and state keeps us all free and safe. Read the 2008 TX GOP platform and see if you agree with the foreign policy towards Israel.
Also Steve as far as Shamanism, Islam, Vodun or other religions not being included in “American” writings of course they would not have been included in early writings in this country because all of the heads of state were of European descent and did not consider other ethnicities as equals, even though today we know they all are. We know about the history of these faiths because they existed and were popular, just not among the “founding fathers” and their ilk. I submit that this nation would have been much better had the framers opened their minds and included other peoples and their beliefs in their thinking. The lack of inclusion and the dominance of one religion is due to ignorance and discrimination.
BTW I didn’t find much about Rev. Doddridge, maybe if you can include a link or a source I will look at it. Now, I may not get too indepth as it is more than likely religiously based and that’s not my focus but I will browse it.
SATAN IS A LIAR, whether he is called ‘Mike’ or by any other name.
All I can say is, “Preach it, brother”. As far as those who criticize you for speaking the truth, all I can say about them is “There is none so blind as he who will not see”.
Keep up the good work!
You filled with devine inspiration. God is with you. I feel your spirit, I will go into the inner citys with your message. You are in my prayers. Carl Gottstein Jr. 12144
Apostle Claver? Black folks tramping, like elephants, on black people to score points with the white GOP? They are a dime a dozen.
They cling to M. Maulkin and A. Coulter and G. Beck for a hope of being patted on their heads and given a plum consulting job..normally how to demean black folks.
Apostle Claver? Try to score points against black folks? That is nothing new. the GOP loves the Claver types. They are normally black males who have issues with the own identity and find in the
GOP a “home” for their self hate and political gibberish.
Apostle Claver? Why is he calling himself an apostle? Is that suppose to impress church black folks that they are in the presence of someone who is important?
The Claver types are always with us. They are the type of person in the time of slavery ran to the boss man to tell him that the slaves are un happy and are planning to leave the plantation.
Apostle Claver? He will rant and rage about black welfare queens and
young kids wearing their pants down low and any other issue that will warm the hearts of his GOP handlers and Cleaver will smile and think he is doing work for the kingdom. He will collect his GOP
backed paycheck and go on to the next targeted city and rail against black folks with the hopes of getting the nod of Walter Williams or Clarence Thomas or a radio spot from his godfather…
Rush Limbaugh.
Apostle Cleaver? Just another voice crying out for attention and
a payday. What else is new with the NEW race hustlers!
I would like to ask the naysayers who turn racism back onto the Tea Party, Conservatives and Republicans why it is that the poorest cities in the nation are run by Liberal Democrats? Why is it that the states that are in the deepest trouble are run by Liberals?
Your Liberal “Knights in Shining Armor” are killing black babies in the tradition of Margaret Sanger; Hillary Clinton gave props to this woman whose life’s mission was to “weed the garden” of Negros.
Our invitation stands. We invite Black America. Come join us. We WILL welcome you because you belong. Just give us a try.
We believe in content of character. Period.
The GOP appointed the first ever black commander of the joint chiefs, national security advisor, and secretary of state (Powell). As an encore, it appointed a black AND female Secretary of State (Rice).
The president that made those appointments served two terms proudly.
Why didn’t Clinton appoint any blacks to his major cabinet positions? Was he a racist?
“Senator Robert Byrd, West Virginia Democrat, was an Exalted Cyclops and a Kleagle (recruiter) in the Ku Klux Klan, but he does not appear to be troubled by his past. The fact that in 1964 he led the filibuster against the Civil Rights Act is never mentioned by the mainstream press. His liberal voting record since the 1960s continues to shield him from scrutiny, even though he occasionally reveals his true racist sentiments. In 2001, for instance, Senator Byrd infamously used the term “white-N-rs” during an interview with the late Tony Snow on Fox News Sunday. His subsequent apology appeared to absolve him; he was not held responsible by the media or fellow Democrats for what the term truly implies. The word “white-N-rs” expresses the idea that the lowest any white person can sink is to join blacks, who Mr. Byrd continues to relegate to the bottom of the social heap.”

The above is a mere example of a plethora of truth that the liberals do not like to be brought up. The other truth is the democrat party cares about power. They seek a central government, which punishes success, to redistribute wealth. Under the guise of giving it to the poor; yet the supposed targets of said monies are still poor.
What the democrats figured out in the 60′s is that being the party of handouts, and fake robin hood type tax policy would garner popular compassionate voters. I say its fake because, if you look around every single supposed social program to fix unequality-is a failure. People are still poor, elderly are squeeking by, and an estimated 1-7 people in the nation is on some form of assistance.
What the democrats knew is this:
A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world’s greatest civilizations has been 200 years.
Great nations rise and fall. The people go from bondage to spiritual truth, to great courage, from courage to liberty, from liberty to abundance, from abundance to selfishness, from selfishness to complacency, from complacency to apathy, from apathy to dependence, from dependence back again to bondage.”
Alexander Tyler(the authorship of that quote is under debate though the words are whats important not who said them)
The democrats put down their KKK hoods and took on the ‘championing the underdog’ politics. This wasn’t because they were morally superior. It wasnt because all the racists suddenly joined the republican party- it was cause they knew they could not have power any other way.
Look how democrats run elections every year on what “they will give”, while burning into your minds, “what others will take away”. They contend they have done so much, but when you look around your neighborhood do you really feel they have done anything? Its ok I have heard the “talking point answers” before. Its because them kooky rightwingers are standing in the way.
Really? Then explain welfare, medicare, medicaid, social security, urban housing and developement, section 8, food stamps, FHA, fannie mae, freddie mac, etc… all these social programs and still do you feel any richer, any more enlightened, and more superior NOW. If your honest and look past your brainwashing-you can admit no.
The truth is handouts don’t help people, in the way they are peddling. Yes, it helps you eat today. Yes, today you can get some medicine. Though let me ask you something personal; do you raise your children in that way? I know I wasn’t raised with handouts, I was taught to work for things.
If I wanted ‘allowance’ I had chores. Why? If giving is good(and it means everything), why would my parents not just hand me 5 dollars? My folks were teaching me responibility. They were teaching me the reward of work. I learned what was needed to build wealth.
The government more importantly the democratic party advocates ‘stealing’ money from your countrymen and passing it out others. Does that make you feel equal? Did you really become a better person from that? No, you did learn one thing though; who’s feet you have to kiss to keep getting your allowance.
The liberals are basically peddling their crack,(social justice)to not only keep you addicted to the big government handouts. But keep you voting for them. You become cripple, stuck in the same rut of any other addict. So blind you forget your own principles, or simply give up on your own and morph into theirs cause its simply easier. They are the giver of “the stuff”.
I know being a conservative is tougher. You have to believe in:
Small government, less taxes, self responsibility and freedom.
But without this you are just a government slave.
“When plunder becomes a way of life for a group of men living together in society, they create for themselves in the course of time a legal system that authorizes it and a moral code that justifies it.”
Frederic Bastiat
If government gave you your rights, they could easily take them away. If government provides your food, they could at some point take it away. If government provides you insurance, at some point they could or may need to take it away. If you depened on them YOU ARE SHACKLED LIKE A SLAVE.
The only true path to freedom, is making government beholden to you. The only way to do that is being self sufficient. Why do you think ‘aid’ is never enough? Because it isn’t designed to be. Its there to make you vote for the giver. Not for policy or principle.
Not because they are inherently good, or more compassionate-or any less the cross burning types they used to be. Its all about power and controlling the people.
The amount of “aid” is directly proportional to the amount it takes so you don’t revolt, and/or your voter turnout lags.
Think long and hard about what you honestly believe and what values you will teach your children. Are you shackled to government? Going to teach your kids to be addicted to “aid”, and base their beliefs around someones elses promises?
to J. What an excellant post. To Raging Eelephants, God Bless you on your endeavors.
Here is an excellant article on the over-view back in the 60′s and the civil rights issue, election between LBJ and Goldwater.
http://www.archives.gov/publications/prologue/2001/spring/lbj-and-white-backlash-1.html
As a US Senator, LBJ was against civil rights, it was only as a President, was he forced to change “direction” to win the election.
Bush had more blacks in his administration then any other President.
When Blacks support the GOP, what are they called by Dems and Libs?
Uncle Tom’s. They are smeared and torn down.
Every Black Democratic Congressman/woman, leader for the Dems plays the race card. It really cheapens the cause of MLK, who sought for equality for all people, regardless of color, race. It insults the Black Republican Party members.Rangel, has played the race card now claiming he has been targeted not because of the laws he has broken as a Congressman, taxpayer, etc, but because he was simply black. The message black leaders are sending is this: we can’t be held accountable of any law broken because we are black, we deserve to be a protected class from any laws broken due to the color of our skin. What would MLK say if he was alive today about the black leaders who hold this in your face air of arrogance?
Why are the majority of welfare cities filled with plan parenthood abortion clinics? Because Sangor wanted to eliminate the blacks.
Our first elected Black President has played the “race” card to divide and conquer the people of this country. I still remember the photo of the white cop and the black Professor who walked with a cane at the WH. Obama walked ahead to the microphone while in the back-ground that “racist white cop” helped the elderly black Professor down the steps. A picture is worth a thousand words.
I will support any black candidates out there who have the courage to run in the GOP Party. God knows that they will be smeared and labeled “Uncle Tom’s, traitors to their race, etc” by the Democrats and Liberals…..
“1st Amendment. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.”
This mean CONGRESS can not make a law that PROHIBITS the free exercise of my religion.
Also, go read your ORIGINAL state constitution. Some states required you to belong to the STATE religion before you could hold public office.
Separation of church and state is NO WHERE in the CONSTITUTION of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, nor is it mentioned in any amendment.
To the Gentleman Mike who claims that there are no Blacks in the GOP.. There are also no Asians. Just because you look around and maybe in your area you see a lot of Blacks I would acaution you to realize Blacks only represent 11-12.5 % the population. There is speculation that if African and West Indian Immigrants many who are of mixed race and do not classify or identify as African Americans were to be seperated from the total count you would be along the lines of 8 or 9%. Therefore havng 1 or no Black Seators is within the actual percentage.
For many years Blacks refused to get involved prefering to have the likes of Jessie Jackson speak for them. Now you want to blame the Conservatives and Republicans for not havoing enough of themin the party?? Jackson , Sharpton and other bottom feeder race baters were willing to keep the people they claimed to represent in a Racial wilderness convinced that only they could speak on their behalf. Have you seen any other Immigrant groups parading around some dufus as their leader? Haven’t seen a Jamaican, Nigerian ,German, Korean orGreek leader claiming to speak for “their” people. Blacks have allowed them selves to follow Democrats fpor 50plus years they are no better off today than they were then. Democrats/Liberals/Progressives allow some Blacks to advance when it suits their purpose.. I can think of former State Comptroller McCall who was excellent in that position , when he waned to run for Governor was slammed by the Democrats only because he was very conservative on Fiscal issues. Many Republicans were prepared to vote for this man… till he got fooled by the party into endorsing Hillary Clinton as Senator and started towing the party line. He has not been seen or heard from since then. The Democrats spoiled another Black mans chances of running for election for Governor of New York state in 2012. Patterson took over for Spitzer… appeared to be fioscally conservative in his acceptance speech afew months later they tried to force Carpoline Kennedy on the State only because Odumbo owed her. Patterson appointed someone else then Odumbo said he would prefer Patterson not run for the office. That was the kiss of death that Patterson never recover from.
As you can see we have many young, dynamic articulate Blacks stepping forward nd getting involved in the GOP.They are finally realizing that the only things stopping them from being successful like everyone else is the liberal idea that you cannot be anything unless you have a leader or approval from Democrats.
Well Aimhigh you seem to place Black people into a neat little box. We do not have a “leader’ any more than white people have one. The fact is most of us do not feel comfortable in the Republican party and to find out why you would have to ask us individually. It may have to do with the fact that the GOP used the southern strategy to lure southern whites into the party in the late 60′s as was confirmed by two of the last Republican party leaders. Many of us are hard working, educated middle class tax payers and not ignorant welfare deadbeats as you seem to suggest. To bring that point home, why are so many poor whites who live in trailor parks still voting Republican when their fortunes haven’t changed? For Apostle Claver to bring up race when discussing the political parties is foolish and if you have to go back over 40 years, as many here have done, to find Democratic racism then that argument should be evaded. All I’m saying is if the GOP is so progressive there should be at least 1 Black member of congress in their party in 2010. The fact that there isn’t even one is a serious indictment.
@webedebtfree, true there is no phrase “seperation of church and state” but it is definitely implied and the courts have upheld this. Even though some state constitutions may hold religious language we have to go with the U.S. Constitution in this matter in deference to the supremacy clause as the U.S. Constitution supercedes any state constitution. And yes, you are free to practice your religion in any manner you choose, that is a great part of our country.
At the risk of being redundant I forgot which sign in I used but here it goes. Mr. or Ms. Aimhigh you speak as if Black people are a monolithic group that use one collective hive brain. We don’t have a “leader” anymore than white people have a leader. Facts are facts, in 2010 it is an indictment that the GOP does not have ONE Black elected official in the House or Senate. They have had only two in the last what 50 years? That is not progress. In 2008 the Dems had the most diverse convention in history while the GOP had the least diverse so it seems to me the Repubs are going backwards. You bring up Gov. Patterson but the fact is he is not a popular governor who would most likely lose an electoral process so common sense dictates getting a better candidate but you convieniently forget Deval Patrick, the only Black governor and what party does he belong? You also speak as if all Black people are on welfare and not successful, believe it or not there are many successful, intelligent, hard working, educated, middle class Black people that are satisfied with their political affiliation. My question is why are so many poor whites who live in trailer pars still voting Republican without change in their condition?
@Webedebtfree, you are correct that some states may have religious requirements in their state constitutions but the supreme law of the land trumps any state laws. The supremacy clause in the U.S. constitution lakes it clear federal law supercedes state law and there is a prohibition of a religious test for any public position. You are correct that you a free to practice any religion you choose but it is also true we are also free to not practice or recognize any religion also.
Amen! We are all Americans that need to unite we will prevail with God’s help. Divided we fall. So wake up Americans and we can take our country back together.
There is one simple way to end Roe without government getting involved.
“Don’t want an abortion? Don’t have one.”
Let us get down to the harder work of changing minds and give up the fantasy of changing them with government guns.
I explain how to do it at Thank You Friend. It is near the bottom.
This movement will founder unless the people involved stop worshiping government. Samuel had something to say about that when he discusses in the Bible the Israelite’s desire for a king. He says that those who exalt government have left God. Take it to heart in everything great and small.
You are on fire! Never let up.
I quote from David Horowitz: Obama’s Rules For Revolution: The Alinsky Model
“The title of Hillary’s thesis was “There Is Only the Fight: An Analysis of the Alinsky Model.” In this title she had singled out the single most important Alinsky contribution to the radical cause – his embrace of political nihilism. An SDS radical once wrote, “The issue is never the issue. The issue is always the revolution.” In other words the cause whether inner city blacks or women – is never the real cause, but only an occasion to advance the real cause which is the accumulation of power to make the revolution. That was the all consuming focus of Alinsky and his radicals.”
Wake up Black America! Obama is a Saul Alinsky disciple, and proud to be. You are being played by people who are promising utopia. Utopian societies always require strict adhearence to a central plan. As the plan is rolled out all good citizens are expected to endure temporary inconvieniencs, and compromise personal freedom. Public dissent is a threat to society and trouble makers are “detained.”
The promise is that once the plan is fully implemented, the good life will begin. But there is always something else; a new reason to endure inconvenience and make sacrifices. Anybody who has second thoughts and falls out of step becomes a threat to the society. Group identity, such as by race, is no longer tolerated. After all, group identity movements were originally manipulated to bring down the old society. There will be no more of that.
Unauthorized changes made at the community level may negatively affect the collective so that is strictly forbidden. Changing residence is no longer between two private parties. All dwellings are owned by the collective and changes must be approved by a government agency. If people, on a whim, just up and moved to another city, there would be an imbalance of labor that could disrupt production. And on and on. Use your imagination; or you could read up on real life in any number of Marxist Utopias.
The divide between Blacks and Whites is not anything as sinister as racism. It is merely based on political ideology. A great many Blacks support leaders who have a Marxist worldview. You think not? It is widely reported that 90% or more Blacks approve of Obama’s performance.
A great many Whites helped elect President Obama. What made them turn “racist?” The fact is they didn’t. They turned against him only after they became aware of his Marxist/Post-Colonial ideology.
Read “Dreams From My Father.” Obama tells Us what he believes. Was he lying?
No group or popuation segment is ths sole owner of any of the ‘isms’. The belong to all of society and all of us are impacted by them.
The question I have is, why do you belive what you believe? I fear that most of us can’t answer that questions with facts. I fear that most believe what they believe because it is what they were told or influenced to believe. Educate yourselves! Do the work!
It is important and good, I think, that we debate and defend our ideas and beliefs with facts. The lies propogated by both sides are a distraction to the truth and the work that needs to be done!
@Notwaiting, quick question how do you know why Black people vote the way we do? Are you even Black? Tell you what, ask ANY Black person and see if they vote for a candidate because they support Marxism and I’m sure you will get the look you deserve. The president is not a Marxist no matter how many stupid conservative articles you read. The reason most Black people vote Democratic is because we vote the interests of ourselves and our communities. For example, I am an airline pilot and the last Republican congress and president tried to outsource my job by signing the “Open Skies” agreement that allows U.S. routes to be flown by foreign carriers. The Dems you ask? Well they introduced HR 4788 The Prevent Aviation Jobs Outsourcing Bill that forbids the outsourcing of pilot and flight attendant jobs. So if you were me who would you vote for? Pssssssst, it has nothing to do with Marxism, if you don’t believe me ask 100 Black people and get back to me with your findings, I’d love to hear them.

This is ridiculus! When the Republican Party starts to think about blacks and poor Americans and not just themselves, then maybe we will start voting for them. They don’t care about America and helping those who are less fortunate. They just want to keep everything to themselves. At least the Democrats desire the better good of the whole and not just keeping tax money to fill their own pockets. You got it twisted!
AWESOME. I’ll vote for him for President.
Hey, Stupid! The groups you mentioned are now REPUBLICANS!
Hey Claver..What party supported Aparthied..What party denied hundreds of Blacks the right ti vote in Florida..What party voted againsrt the MLK holiday..What party lied to the nation about the Iraq war..What party lied about 911..What party hijacked the tea party and turned it into a racist movement…What party created more homeless then any other party..What has NO Black governors..What party has 6 Blacks in congress since 1950..What party does racist’s like Limbaugh , Hannity speak for.?? And please stop it with the lies about MLK..He WAS NOT A REPUBLICAN..Here’s the proof…
Martin Luther King, Jr. wrote in his autobiography:
“The Republican Party geared its appeal and program to racism, reaction, and extremism.”
That was his description of the 1964 Republican National Convention. He also referred to the Republican convention as “the frenzied wedding at the Cow Palace of the KKK with the radical right.”
MLK also voted for JFK and campaign for LBJ…Dr King did not trust or like republicans..amd for good reason..Stop the lies ..it makes you seem as though you don’t respect the Black communinty….
@notwaitingforgodot…You mean this David Horowitz…??
“Horowitz’s anti-reparations ad demands: “What about the Debt Blacks Owe to America?” “If not for the sacrifices of white soldiers and a white American president…blacks in America would still be slaves,” denied “…the greatest freedoms, and the most thoroughly protected individual rights anywhere. Where is the acknowledgment of black America and its leaders for those gifts?”
Only the crudest apologist for slavery could argue that a people whose ancestors were enslaved for 250 years owe a debt to those who enslaved them for the fact that their enslavement was finally ended! Horowitz’s anti-reparations ad ignores the major and heroic role of African Americans themselves in fighting against slavery. There were over 200 slave revolts, including the ones led by Nat Turner in Virginia and Denmark Vesey in South Carolina. The ad fails to mention that nearly 200,000 Blacks fought in the Union army, at half the pay of white soldiers, and one out of every five (almost 40,000) gave their lives in this fight (the casualty rate for Black Union soldiers was double that of whites). Horowitz turns reality on its head when he calls “gifts” the basic rights that people in fact had to fight and die to achieve..”
He sounds like Ruch Limpballs and Sean Hannity….Tell me are you also a racist…???…nevermind…
For those who need no rehearsal…

I have now seen it all, another brainwashed Black Man. The GOP must be feeding your pockets big time, you must be a joke right. The devil is really at work and you are one of his best empoyees, we will all have to stand before god one day and belive it or not you still have time to walk through the pearly gates
)
“By and large Republicans had ignored blacks and sometimes handpicked a few servile leaders in the black community to be their token “niggers”. How would I sound trying to go all out to sell Republicans to black people? They’re not buying. They know better.”
Jackie Robinsom…
Apostle, are you kidding me!! I never heard of you until I saw you presenting at a Herman Cain event in Texas. I thought your speech was way off base. You need to take another course in American history. Black people switched from the Republicans when they went “dixiecrat” in the 60′s. My parents voted Republican but in the 60′s they switched because Democrats supported civil rights. I have never seen an insistence when Republicans have support the African American agenda. Tell me how much are the Kock brothers paying you for your divisive rhetoric!!
No party is perfect but you Herman Cain are WAY OFF BASE!!
Carol
Come on man it’s 2011,and everyone know that the G.O.P. is the White Man’s Party !!!!! I mean everyone know that, even they do, and you and Cain are just tokens and that’s all.
I know their are a few more blacks in the G.O.P. Party, but people today votes for who is the best person for the job, hell I even voted for some white G.O.P. folks in the past, and if you guys got yourselves together I would vote for one of your hopeful !!!, so please get your facts right before you go in front of the nation thank you…….
Black and in Alabama…. p.s. and I know Jim Crows,KKK,Rednecks and the rests of them…..
You should do some research on the evolution of political parties. You want to call the democratic party is the party of racist ask yourself why the south turned red after the 1965 civil rights/ voting rights act. After that southern Democrats and noted racists like Strom Thurman and Jesse Helms switched from Democrats to Republican. With that said it would be wrong and irresponsible to make sweeping generalizations of a political party and I will not attempt to balance your ignorance with any statement that would do so
You are intitled to your own opinion but not your own facts these are just a few instance where policy, practice and republican participants have done no favors for equality. Once Again with all that said I make no sweeping judgements of the Republican party but these are the facts. But be clear when you make statements the party of emancipators (read President Lincoln’s First Inaugural Address 1861) He did do the right thing in the end but it is important that we see him and his party at that time as a whole for historical context.
”I would save the Union. I would save it the shortest way under the Constitution. The sooner the national authority can be restored; the nearer the Union will be “the Union as it was.” If there be those who would not save the Union, unless they could at the same time save slavery, I do not agree with them. If there be those who would not save the Union unless they could at the same time destroy slavery, I do not agree with them. My paramount object in this struggle is to save the Union, and is not either to save or to destroy slavery. If I could save the Union without freeing any slave I would do it, and if I could save it by freeing all the slaves I would do it; and if I could save it by freeing some and leaving others alone I would also do that. What I do about slavery, and the colored race, I do because I believe it helps to save the Union; and what I forbear, I forbear because I do not believe it would help to save the Union. I shall do less whenever I shall believe what I am doing hurts the cause, and I shall do more whenever I shall believe doing more will help the cause. I shall try to correct errors when shown to be errors; and I shall adopt new views so fast as they shall appear to be true views.” 1862 letter to Horace Greeley
What party has the largest poll numbers of people that believe the first African American President is The Antichrist or Born in Kenya? What party has rallies with participants that paint the president as Hitler and calls him socialist/communist? What party has continued to promote inequality through homophobia?

Dem. Craig Watkins the DA of Dallas has said the opposite and he has been trying to overturn wrongful convictions because they do happen and they happen disproportionately to poor minorities. What party is in charge of a state where this happens?

The answer to all Questions above are Republicans and the Republican party I cite my sources and I linked to all material. Mr. Claver you are a powerful speaker. Im sure you learned that studying Communication. However you should brush up on Political Science and History. Have a Great Day
Most minorities vote democrat. That is why the congress and senate on the liberal side is more diverse. You have to run for office to be elected. Very few minorities have run on the republican ticket. The most recent being Allen West and Marco Rubio who both won. They did not win because they were minorities. They won because of their character. Both amazing people who will be a positive influence on this country.
Unfriggin believable!!! Democrats are just as bad as the KKK??? Typical GOP crap. They will say anything, even down and dirty absolute lies just to get a headline. Congratulations, a new low for any party.
