Houston Tea Party

Details are in development, but Houston Tea Party is tentatively scheduled for Discovery Green Park on Friday, Feb. 27 at 11 a.m. The coalition of Future of the HCRP, Conservador Alliance, Harris County Rebuild the Party and others will be hosting speakers, sound-offs, and a brown-bag picnic. Other activities to be added as confirmed.

I will attend the Tea Party on the 27th in Houston
It would be great if this were to take place on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. Most conservatives work for a living and it would be hard for them to take a day off, in the middle of the work day, to travel downtown to attend. You would most likely get a greater turnout if you scheduled this for the time when we are not at work. Remember, the liberals are the ones that have a great population of welfare recipients/non-workers. Scheduling rallies during the workhours is easy for them since they don’t work!
This needs to be a weekend event. We want masses. The masses who pay taxes work.
We agree on a weekend event, however, we are trying to stay in line with the national movement, which dictated a 11:00 friday event… please try and take a long lunch if possible.
Has the permit been obtained. If so we will be driving from South Texas.

I would LOVE to attend but like many others, I have a work commitment. If a week-end event were planned, I’m certain ALOT more people would make it. Whoever schedule a national meeting in the middle of a workday just didnt do their homework …
I will be attending. Like most conservatives, I work, but this is too important to not be there. Hopefully this is the first of many opportunities for the ‘silent majority’ to speak up!

Firstly, thank you for helping organize this event!!!!!! It was inspirational and only the beginning of what we need to do.
Secondly, I heard you speak and you were awesome!!!!! I agreed with every single word you said.
Thirdly, count me in as one who will willingly do anything to help! I will happily donate time and money. We have to rise up and stop this insanity!!
My friend and I attended this today — Thanks for organizing it! It was great to be a part of it and to know we are not alone in our concern for where the country is going. I’ll be watching for more events to attend!!!
Thank you for organizing this event. We just heard about it yesterday and made an apoint to be apart of it today. We are patriots, and want to see the Constitution upheld…..Our founding fathers fought for our freedom and we will fight to keep it. We are Americans who believe that we need leadership that upholds the foundational truths of the Constitution and carries them out in every avenue of government. We can not sit still and do nothing!!! We need to mobilize and get more Americans involved in keeping America good.

we drove almost 3 hrs to get to the event. It was well worth it! How encouraging to see so many others who want to stop the takeover of our country. How wonderful to get connected and to hear Claver speak. Thank you to all who worked to put this together. We are watching for more!
I saw Claver on a YouTube presentation of the tea party in Houston. That man knows how to deliver a message as powerfully as I’ve ever seen. Made the hair (what’s left) on the back of my head stand up.
