“The Herd” has done it, again!
Memorial Dedication Last Sunday.
RE.org Billboards, Today!
On this past Sunday the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial was dedicated on the Mall in our nation’s capital. Today, 3 of our 4 …
Great ad! I just heard about RagingElephants this week…sorry it took me so long….I think you’re going about returning our country to its roots…its independence – the right way!!! I’m with you.
What roots? Slavery? The fact women couldn’t vote? There was no time on this country’s history when things were great. This idealic period conservatives speak of sucked for people of color. While many conservs wax poetically about the “good old days” many of us remember when we couldn’t eat at certain lunch counters and would get visits from the Klan for trying to vote. Maybe I’m being silly but I’ll take a pass on returning to the past, let’s look to a better future.
Hey Mike, lets look to the future for better times, lets all get together as Americans.I don’t care what color you are or where your ancestors came from if your male or female. Are you a citizen of this country now?
Time is running out for us…ALL of us.These so called politicians ain’t gonna do noth’n for you and me.We need real leaders, real people that CARE.I don’t know how else to put it.
If you can’t do it with a smile on your face and love in your heart than you ain’t got no right to do it at all.Now that would be revolutionary!
Great ad! I guess I am a conservative!
Hey Mike– I agree with you that there has been no Utopian period in this country, for any group, nor is there likely to be one….it cannot be legislated into existance. The best we can do is to limit the power of the goverponment inorder to maximize our liberties.
Take a look at some history– many states, early on, tied voting rights to property ownership, not race or gender, so many women and blacks did have the right to vote. Also, it was not until the 1930s that many of the segreational policies were put in place. There was a black speaker of the house in the 1800s and several former slaves were in congress less than 10 years after the emancipation proclaimation…Keep the debate alive! Love ya, man!
(sorry for the typos… my mouse is broken and the cursor keeps jumping around)
I love your ads…very truthful and presented in a concise manner. I wish our politicans would cut to the chase like you do instead of dancing around the issues so they can play one side to one group and play another side to another group.
